MFXG Academy is the education division of MyForexGlobal Capital. It brings together free financial-market education, structured trading development, risk management, performance review, quantitative research, investing and private support. The goal is not to give traders a stream of calls to copy. It is to help them understand what they are seeing, define a decision process and learn how to review that process honestly.

If you are building your foundations, start with the free learning network and move from market structure into systems, risk and performance. If you want a guided progression, MFXG Academy's flagship curriculum is The Market Reading Edge, an 18-week pathway built around reading market control, understanding the market story, validating opportunities and managing risk before execution.

The flagship curriculum: The Market Reading Edge

The Market Reading Edge is designed as a progression rather than a collection of unrelated setups. Each stage adds a new decision layer so that entries are studied only after the learner can explain the market environment behind them.

The public pages are only a preview of the complete course

What you see publicly on MFXG Academy represents only about 1% of the complete Market Reading Edge learning experience.

The public pages show the learning structure, the main concepts and the decision process the course develops. They are not a reproduction of the complete lessons. The full learning experience goes substantially deeper into chart reading, market logic, valid and invalid examples, decision rules, exercises and practical application.

MFXG intentionally does not reproduce the complete proprietary course material on the open website. Think of the public pages as a map of the curriculum, not the full lesson.

  • Weeks 1–7 — Read the Market: buyers and sellers, market control, how trends form, market types, valid and invalid pullbacks, lower-timeframe reading, multiple-timeframe analysis, primary and secondary moves, and the conditions that make a market ON, WAIT or OFF for a trading process.
  • Weeks 8–12 — Understand Market Behaviour: liquidity, the behaviour often described as the market-maker game, trading traps, session participation, volume, three moving averages and correlation. These tools are used to support the market story rather than replace price reading.
  • Weeks 13–14 — Build the Market Story: connect higher and lower timeframes, explain what has happened, identify what matters now, define what would confirm or invalidate an idea, and construct a complete trade from context to exit.
  • Weeks 15–16 — Control Risk: position sizing, risk per trade, reward and risk, expectancy, drawdown, correlated exposure, capital protection and the additional constraints involved in prop-firm trading.
  • Weeks 17–18 — Become the Trader: probability thinking, overtrading, overconfidence, FOMO, revenge trading, process goals, meditation and emotional regulation, the trading plan, backtesting, forward testing and treating trading as a business process rather than a search for a holy grail.

Learn one decision skill at a time

Each week is intended to answer one major trading question. A concept is first defined, then its logic is explained, then it is examined on charts in both good and poor conditions. The learner should finish by applying the idea to unfamiliar charts, recording the reasoning and identifying the rule that belongs in the trading plan.

This matters because knowing the definition of a pullback, trend or liquidity sweep is not the same as being able to recognize it while price is still unfolding. MFXG Academy therefore treats chart reading, decision quality and review as skills that need repeated practice.

Start with the free market foundations

The structured course sits on top of the site's existing educational network. Newer traders can begin with Financial Markets & Market Structure to understand participants, liquidity, sessions, price discovery and execution. That foundation makes trend, pullback and timeframe analysis easier to interpret.

When you are ready to turn observations into explicit rules, continue into Trading Systems & Execution. This section covers trading plans, setup definitions, entry and exit rules, trade management, backtesting, forward testing, strategy validation and overfitting.

Study Risk Management as a separate discipline rather than something added after an entry is found. Position size, leverage, drawdown, correlation, volatility and risk budgets determine whether a trading process can survive uncertainty.

Measure the process, not only the outcome

A winning trade can come from a poor decision, and a losing trade can come from a well-executed process. The Trading Performance & Analytics section develops the measurement side of trading through expectancy, profit factor, drawdown, MAE/MFE, equity curves, journaling and mistake analysis.

The long-term objective is to make reviews more useful than a simple list of wins and losses. A trader should be able to identify which market conditions were traded, whether the setup rules were followed, how much was risked and which repeated behaviours are helping or damaging performance.

Go deeper with research, investing and tools

Traders who want to test assumptions with data can use Applied Financial Engineering & Research for topics such as financial time series, volatility, simulation, validation, machine learning and regime analysis. These methods extend market study without pretending that a model removes uncertainty.

The Long-Term Investing & Capital Allocation section connects shorter-term decision-making with diversification, asset allocation, compounding, rebalancing and longer investment horizons.

The Trading & Capital Tools area supports practical work with calculators, templates, worksheets and review aids. Tool pages only describe functionality that is actually available; planned tools are not presented as finished products.

Use mentorship for review, not dependency

For learners who want individual guidance, Trading Education & Private Support focuses on process review, evidence, risk, journaling and decision quality. The purpose is to help a trader become more independent, not dependent on paid signals or another person's live calls.

How to use MFXG Academy

  1. Build enough market foundation to explain what buyers, sellers, structure, liquidity and volatility are doing.
  2. Follow a defined trading process instead of searching for unrelated entries.
  3. Practice each concept on charts before adding another decision layer.
  4. Define risk before the outcome is known.
  5. Journal both the trade result and the quality of the decision.
  6. Backtest, forward test and change an edge only when evidence justifies the change.

Continue through the The Market Reading Edge course hub to follow the complete 18-week learning sequence. The public lesson pages introduce each week's purpose and key ideas, while the complete proprietary curriculum contains substantially more teaching, chart work, practice and application than is reproduced publicly.

Education does not remove market risk

MFXG Academy provides financial-market education and research. It does not guarantee profitability, remove the possibility of loss or replace regulated financial advice where such advice is required. Educational charts and examples are used to teach a decision process and should not be interpreted as individualized instructions to buy or sell a financial instrument.
