Strategy & Performance Analytics

Strategy and performance analytics for traders and trading teams that need to understand expectancy, drawdown, trade behavior, execution patterns, and where results are actually coming from.

By MyForexGlobal Editorial TeamReviewed by Paul Mukara Last reviewed September 3, 2026

Trading results can look acceptable while hiding a fragile process, and poor results can come from a small number of identifiable mistakes rather than a completely broken strategy. MyForexGlobal Capital analyzes trading history to show what is driving performance and where the process is leaking risk.

Find out what is driving the trading record

This service is for an existing strategy or trading process with real or simulated trade history. The central question is not simply “Did it make money?” It is “What combination of edge, risk, execution, and behavior produced the result?”

Signals inside the trade history

  • Win rate and average win/loss relationship.
  • Trading expectancy and payoff distribution.
  • Profit factor and return concentration.
  • Maximum drawdown and recovery behavior.
  • MAE and MFE patterns.
  • Equity-curve shape and instability.
  • Instrument, session, day, direction, or setup-level performance.
  • Position-size consistency and exposure changes.
  • Execution mistakes, rule deviations, and repeatable process errors when the data captures them.

When a performance diagnostic is useful

You provide an export of the trading history and, where relevant, a description of the strategy or setup labels. We agree on the questions that matter before calculation begins. A review can focus on one strategy, compare several strategies, or examine how a discretionary process behaves across different conditions.

From raw trade log to diagnosis

  1. Validate the history. Confirm the fields, time zone, instruments, trade identifiers, and obvious data gaps.
  2. Build the baseline metrics. Calculate the core performance and risk measures consistently.
  3. Segment the result. Break performance into the categories that are actually relevant to the strategy.
  4. Find concentration and instability. Identify whether a small set of trades, periods, instruments, or behaviors dominates the outcome.
  5. Translate findings into decisions. Separate measurement from recommendation so the client can see what the data supports.

What the diagnostic can produce

A typical output can include a strategy diagnostic report, performance tables, charts, equity and drawdown analysis, segmented results, identified process leaks, and a prioritized list of questions for further testing. Where useful, the analysis can also feed into a custom dashboard or trading tool.

How we separate pattern from noise

The methodology sits within our published Trading Performance & Analytics research area. Measures such as trading expectancy, profit factor, maximum drawdown, MAE/MFE, and equity-curve behavior are used when they answer the question in the supplied trading record rather than as a fixed checklist.

What performance analysis cannot prove

Performance analysis describes the evidence available in the supplied history. It cannot turn a short or biased sample into certainty, and it does not guarantee that historical patterns will continue. We do not need trading-account passwords to analyze exported history, and clients should not send login credentials or private keys.

Send the trading history for review

If you already have a trade history, start with the dataset and the questions you want answered. A useful brief explains the strategy type, sample period, instruments, account currency, and any labels you already use for setups or mistakes.
